The Brutal (But Effective) To-Do List

What emotion pops up when you look at your daily to-do list?
If you’re anything like me, you feel:
- afraid
- frustrated
- overwhelmed
- stressed
- all of the above
So tear your list in two. Then throw one half away.
Your original to-list is too long anyway.
You may be thinking: I can’t do that. Yes, you can. As for those freaking out about which half to throw away, it doesn’t matter. If a task is important, it’ll pop up again when you write your daily to-do list tomorrow.
To truly benefit from this exercise, repeat it until you have no more than five tasks on your list.
